Vogue and CFDA for the Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort

Vogue and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) have joined forces to raise money for the Hurricane Sandy Relief effort. Diane von Furstenberg explains the project in this video. Members of the fashion industry are auctioning off special events and experiences in a bid to raise funds to help those effected.

DvF Through Glass

At the start of week when the models at DvF stalked down the runway wearing the latest technological headpiece, Google Glasses, both the fashion and technology worlds went in to a frenzy.  The footage from this project has been quickly edited into a fascinating short fashion film through the eyes of Diane and her team, giving a front row view of the fashion week process. As Diane states at the start of the video, her goal is “to tell every girl, every woman in the world that they can be the woman they want to be.” DvF is communicating this idea through every aspect of her brand in increasingly advanced ways.
